Working together for families and under fives
About Us
St Piers, a Sure Start Children’s Centre is a joint partnership project between The National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy (NCYPE) and Surrey County Council’s Early Years and Childcare Service (EYCS). Like all Sure Start Centres, St Piers offers family and parent support services to all families with children under five. This Children's Centre is not a childcare centre but has links with all childcare providers in the area.
St Piers Children’s Centre is based at the lovely NCYPE campus in Lingfield, Surrey. The Children’s Centre serves a large geographical area, from Burstow to Dormansland, encompassing Crowhurst, Lingfield and Horne. We also now have a mobile provision, a playbus, to take services to outlying areas.
Each week the Children's Centre is open for Drop-In Information, Stay and Play sessions and other groups and activities. There is also a free play and stay session at The Foreman Institute in Blindley Heath for parents and children from 0-5.All the services and activities will be listed here on our website for you to find.
Our co-ordinator is Karen Pallot.Karen and the staff will be glad to hear from you by e-mail, telephone or in person and they will try to answer any questions or concerns you have about local childcare services or any other aspects of your work as a parent or carer. The staff will also be able to supply information about other services which may help you. Just go to our contact us page.
