Information Service

The information service is available for all parents and carers.You can e-mail or phone us and find leaflets, information and personal help in areas such as childcare availability, jobs, training and parenting. There is free information to take away and the coordinator of the Chidren’s Centre will be pleased to help you. There is no charge for this service.

Outreach Services

We know that family life is not always fun and balloons! If you need to speak to us in the comfort of your own home, call us for an outreach visit on 01342 831306

Child Health Drop-in Sessions

Please come to our drop-in session alternate  Tuesday mornings, 9.30 to 11.00 (2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month) to speak to a member of the health team about any aspect of health and development of your child, such as  immunisations, hearing and vision, healthy eating, behaviour, toilet training , sleeping etc. No need to book

Stay and Play and Surestarters

Come and enjoy and fun packed play session for you and your child. Stay and Play sessions are run at the Children’ s Centre and offsite at the Forman Club, Eastbourne Rd, Blindley Heath.

All sessions are planned in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum by professionals and are designed to help your child to be prepared for school.

Mondays at 10 to 11.30 at St Piers and Thursdays at 10 to 12 at the Forman club.

Paediatric First Aid

Two hour workshops to give parents of young children the confidence to deal with emergencies.
