    The Centre will be closed for the Christmas season from Monday 24th December until Thursday January 3rd ( advice and information only). All our activities will resume from Monday 7th January

    The Centre will be open form 9.00 to 3.-00 Monday to Thursday and 9.00 to 12.00 Fridays

    PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO WEIGHT YOUR BABY TODAY, AS WE DO NOT HAVE A SET OF SCALES AT THE CENTRE:

    Drop in to discuss infant development, feeding, information, advice and support. Meet Katherine a qualified and experienced breastfeeding Counsellor. As a UNICEF accredited Baby friendly Children's Centre all staff are trained to advise and support you with breastfeeding. Pregnant mums are most welcome to come and discuss how to start breastfeeding and also to see what is on offer  in your local area.

    We do not have scales every week. To weight your baby please see Health child drop in clinics once a month.  You can call the 0-19 team Advice Line on01883 340922, this line ins manned Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (excluding bank holidays) Contact Us for more information.

Our  playroom has facilities for babies including lots of stimulating toys and plenty of space for that all important 'tummy time' with friends. There will be light refreshments available (which includes cake) for Mums and Dads. In short all you need for a relaxed time with your baby or nearly-walker, when your baby starts to walk, you can bring him or her to Stay and Play on Monday mornings from 10.00 to 11.30 am.

    Moving on from Kickers and crawlers, these  play sessions are designed for those little explorers to stimulate their development and sense of fun. Much like Kickers and Crawlers there will be sensory play and rhyme time. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, the sessions are open to babies and toddlers from 8 to 26 months. Why don't you come along and join the fun?

    • Latest ideas on managing crying
    • How to get baby chatting
    • games to play with babies
    • What to look for in child care
    • Stress management for adults

    This course is Free to parents living in the Children's Centre area, or in Surrey. Babies in arms are welcome, pregnant mums are also welcome!

    Introducing to Family Foods is a one and a half hour workshop session facilitated by the Health Team. During the session you will be given guidance on when is the best time to start giving your baby solids, which foods are safe, worries about chocking. The community nursery nurse will be able to answer most of your questions about weaning.

    We have a range of books and leaflets you can borrow to find more information about infant nutrition.
